  1. There is soon to be a meeting with a representative from the world-famous Band of the Blues and Royals to discuss the concert we are to stage with them on September 11. This concert should be one of the highlights of the year.

  2. Thankyou to everyone who attended the AGM.

Providing the rest of the committee agree i will publish the decisions of the committee on the Notice Board next Monday ( 22nd Feb )

    Cheers.

  3. It was a great concert on Monday night and our thanks go to Dick Brice for his songs, his humour and his sincerity.

Despite having less than two weeks to stage the concert a profit of over £1100 was a stupenous results and says a lot for the generosity and compassion of Gloucestershire folk.

Come and hear the fabulous singing of Sue Black tonight

Churchdown Male Voice Choir held an excellent concert on Saturday March 13 in the beautiful surroundings of All Saint’s Church, Pittville. The church has had a long association with Gustav Holst and the concert was in support of the organ there. With Pam Taverner at the piano, conductor Ralph Barnes led the choir in an exciting mix of songs - from up-beat songs from a medley from the 60s to quiet and reflective pieces such as My Lord, what a mornng, and Take me home. In the home of Holst it was entirely fitting that the concert closed with Arthur Sullivan's The Lost Chord
